YOUCARE envisions a more sustainable world, which is why we’ve made environmentally friendly choices in both packaging and production. However, for us, sustainability goes beyond caring for the climate and the planet. It also means "sustaining ourselves" by taking care of our bodies and practicing self-care. This is essential for our health and well-being, making it a true form of sustainability.
Our packaging is selected with a sustainable mindset, and most materials are recyclable. We use 100% recycled plastic and bioplast because we believe it’s important to minimize waste and reduce the use of fossil fuels from new packaging.
Our cream tubes, made from sugarcane fibers, provide an eco-friendly alternative that requires less energy and water to produce compared to traditional plastic packaging. These sugarcane tubes are composed of approximately 96% bio-based polyethylene and are free from BPA (Bisphenol A). It’s estimated that during the production of 1 kg of sugarcane material, the sugarcane plant absorbs about 3.09 kg of CO2 from the atmosphere, and the sugarcane tube has a 30% better carbon footprint than conventional PE tubes. This helps reduce our overall carbon footprint.
Sustainable products
Our products contain natural ingredients that do not harm the environment. They are free from harmful chemicals, and the packaging is eco-friendly. The containers for our foam and mist are made from 100% recycled plastic, while the cream tubes are made from bioplastic. Outer packaging (boxes) has been omitted for most products to promote sustainability. Both recycled plastic and bioplastic should be sorted and disposed of as plastic waste.
Self-care is sustainable
Health and well-being are among our core values. We believe that paying attention to your body’s signals and responding when something feels off is crucial for both your physical and mental state. The intimate area is one of the most important parts of your body, and we believe it deserves regular care, attention, and nurturing. That’s why we encourage you to “sustain yourself,” which, in our view, means: Take care of yourself and be kind to yourself.
